Privacy
Privacy notice for MS Blue Ltd.
Who we are
MS Blue Ltd provides professional transport training and learning services through msblue.uk and msblue.academy.
This privacy notice explains how we collect and use your personal information when you contact us, enrol on a course or use our learning platform.
MS Blue Ltd is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. You can contact us at info@msblue.uk.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we collect your name, contact details, account information, course bookings and correspondence.
When you study with MS Blue Academy, we record your course progress, assessment results and course completion. Where required for enrolment or assessment, we also collect identity verification information.
Our systems may record technical information, such as your IP address, login activity and device or browser details, to support platform security and operation.
Enrolment and payment data
We use your enrolment information to process your booking, manage your account, provide course access and support your learning. This processing is necessary to enter into and fulfil our contract with you.
Payments are processed through Stripe. We use transaction references and payment status information to match payments to bookings and manage refunds where applicable.
We process accounting information to meet our legal obligations. We use relevant account and activity information for our legitimate interests in protecting the platform, preventing misuse and resolving enquiries.
Providing the information required for your booking is necessary for us to enrol you and deliver your course.
Sharing, retention and your rights
We share relevant information with service providers who support our website, learning platform, payments and course delivery. Where your booking involves an external examination or assessment, we share the information required with the relevant examination or assessment organisation.
We retain personal information for the periods needed to deliver our services, meet applicable record-keeping requirements and handle complaints or legal claims.
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing or transfer of your information. You may also object to certain uses of your information. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
To exercise your rights, contact info@msblue.uk. You may also raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Course terms & conditions
Your course and what is included
Your booking covers the course and learning format selected at checkout. The course page explains the content, delivery method, access period and included materials.
Both Transport Manager CPC Road Haulage courses include a course handbook. Self-study allows you to work through the online materials at your own pace within your access period. Live online courses include scheduled sessions with a tutor.
OLAT and Transport Manager CPC Refresher are each delivered over two days, live online with a tutor.
IRTEC HGV and Trailer courses offer self-study or live online tutor-led preparation. Both routes require separate in-person knowledge and practical assessments to achieve the relevant IRTEC accreditation.
Completing a training course does not guarantee an examination or assessment pass. An MS Blue course completion certificate does not replace a Transport Manager CPC qualification or IRTEC accreditation.
Fees and examinations
The course fee and any additional charges payable for your booking are shown before you complete your purchase. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Transport Manager CPC examination fees are charged separately and are not included in either the self-study or live online course fee.
IRTEC course prices cover training only. The required in-person knowledge and practical assessments are charged separately and are not included in the course fee. Assessment fees will be confirmed before you book your assessments.
Any examination or assessment resit fees are also charged separately and will be confirmed before you book another attempt.
We will not add optional services or charges without your agreement.
Access and enrolment checks
Please provide accurate enrolment details and any identity documents required for your course, examination or assessment.
Platform access is activated after payment and the required enrolment checks have been completed. We will confirm when your access begins and ends.
Your account is personal to you. You must not share your login details, allow another person to complete assessments on your behalf or distribute course materials without permission.
You will need a suitable device and a reliable internet connection. Live online sessions also require working audio and any additional equipment stated in the joining instructions.
Please check your joining instructions before your course starts. Contact us promptly if you cannot access your account, learning materials or live session.
Cancellations and refunds
If you book online as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from entering into the contract to cancel without giving a reason, subject to the rules below.
Digital course content
If you expressly agree to the supply of digital course content starting during the 14-day cancellation period and acknowledge that you will lose your cancellation right for that content, that right ends when supply begins. We will confirm your agreement by email.
Live teaching and other services
If you expressly request that a service starts during the 14-day cancellation period and then cancel within that period, you may need to pay a proportionate amount for the service provided up to cancellation.
Your cancellation right for a service ends once it has been fully delivered only where you expressly requested early delivery and acknowledged that you would lose that right upon full performance.
How to cancel
Email info@msblue.uk with your name and booking details. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient.
Where a statutory cancellation refund is due, we will issue it within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice, using your original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
Changes to bookings and missed sessions
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your course date or cannot attend a scheduled session. Requests will be considered individually, subject to availability and your statutory rights. A transfer, replacement session or refund outside your statutory cancellation rights is not automatic.
Changes made by MS Blue
If we need to change a confirmed course date, we will contact you and explain the available options. If we cancel your course before it starts, you may choose an available alternative or a refund of the course fee paid.
If we cannot deliver part of a course you have already started, we will explain the proposed solution and any applicable refund rights.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights where digital content or services are faulty, not as described or not supplied as agreed.

Complaints or appeals relating to an external examination or IRTEC assessment may need to follow the relevant examination or assessment organisation’s procedure. We will explain which procedure applies.
